Real-time Ground Shaking Maps (PGA distribution - cm/s2) and Peak Ground Rotations (PGR - mrad/s2) for the last 10 days. Events shown are those with (M ≥ 2.5) in Greece and broader area. Data (automatic locations) are derived from the Seismological Laboratory of the University of Athens. Algorithm is written in such a way to also monitor the automatic epicenter location corrections. Ground Shaking Maps are produced automatically without human intervention. Events have not been reviewed by seismologist. The algorithm is written and developed in MATLAB environment.
PGA was developed under the framework of GRECO-RISKS Hellenic Natural-Hazards-Risk-Management System of Systems. Peak Ground Rotations (PGR) were developed in the framework of G. Sakkas PhD "Determination and analysis of rotational components of earthquakes in Greece". Please read carefully copyright and disclaimer terms. Use with your own responsibility.
